Here lies the home of Shapeshifters. They choose to live in the deepest wells of the forest.
Treck wisely, because you never know what beast you might run into.

Cloaked and hooded, looking very much as if she were just another young woman, Lyenisa headed into the forest. She was scared for her friends, for Evan, for everyone that would get hurt by the hunt her father had called. She continued to walk the path she saw that seemed to cut through the woods. She wanted to warn some of the were-creatures before it started, if not find someone friendly that could help.
Evan was pulling his horse along the forest path, when he heard a rustle in the bushes. "Hello, whose there?"
A cloaked figure came down the path. "Evan..." came a soft voice.
Startled Evan swirled around and raised his sword to the cloak figures neck. "Who are you and what are doing following me?"
The figure just jumped back with an 'eep'. "Evan...I didn't mean to surprise you...." the soft voice said. "I...I just couldn't stay at home...."
"Lyenisa?" Evan said, surprise evident in his voice. "What are you doing here?"
"Father threatened to stop our marriage...." she said, removing her hood. "He's crazy....calling this hunt..."
Evan paled, "Lyenisa you need to go home right now. If your father finds you gone, then our marriage will definitely be canceled. I swear if you just deal with it a bit longer, then we'll wed then nothing can stop me from taking you from that palace."
"But...Evan...." Lyenisa said softly with tears in her eyes. "I just can't sit around doing nothing...."
Evan went to place his hand on her cheek. "You're not doing anything. You're my motivation to finish this bad seed in Tyradias, and as long as youre a live i can do my very best. I need you to live, but to do that you need to remain in the palace."
"Father never wants me to leave my room any more...he thinks I'm too sick to be out...please...." she said as a tear ran down her cheek. "I love you so much..."
Evan sighed, and his gazee soften when he saw her tears. "You're father may not let you leave the room, but your mother on the other hand." Suddenly an idea formed in his head. "Of course, your mother."
"My mother...Evan, I told her what father was doing...and she took me to where he was...he got upset with me and then with her....when I left, they were yelling at each other...."
"Which is why she can convince your father to remain at my palace. She can use the argument that if Phoenix is to dangerous Griffen palace would be the best place for you." Evan replied.
"But...I want to be out helping..."
"You would be." Evan replied. "You'd be helping out by keeping yourself save, which would keep me from being distracted about your safety."
"So....I'll...I'll go to your palace..." she sighed.
"That's the plan, but first we have to go and check with your mother firsdt." Evan said. He brought his horse over. "Give me your foot and I'll boost you over.
"Please... just take me there.... I don't want to hear the yelling....please..." she said, doing as he had asked.
As even boosted her up, he shook his head. "I can't do that with out it being called kidnapping, with or with uot your premission. However, I promise there will be little yelling. I'll talk to your mother without your father around."
Lyenisa nodded. "Okay, Evan..." she whispered, leaning against him on the horse.
Swing up behind her evan wrapped his arms around her to grab the reins. "Well it's back to the castle."
Lyenisa nodded. "Alright.... just please don't leave me til we get to your palace..."
I wont." Evan retorted. Then he kicked his heels into the horse's flesh sending his flying down the path back to her palace.
